Martin VanDerSchouw, PMP currently serves as President & CEO of Looking Glass Development, LLC. In addition to his position as CEO Mr. VanDerSchouw is also the author of the top selling book Flavor of the Month and the upcoming book The Common Sense Leader. Additionally, Mr. VanDerSchouw regularly makes more than 50 presentations per year to groups in the areas of leadership, performance management, and program / project management and is responsible for managing the relationships with LGd’s more than 70 partner outlets.

With nearly 20 years of experience as an executive and information technology professional Mr. VanDerSchouw served as the 2008 External Relations and Volunteer Involvement Committee Chair and the 2007 Chair of Performance Oversight and Secretary Treasurer as a member of the PMI International Board of Directors for the Project Management Institute, was PMI’s 2004 International Leader of the Year, was named to the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, served as a member of the prestigious President’s Business Advisory Council, and served as a member of Colorado’s Commission on Information Management. Previously, Mr. VanDerSchouw served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the country’s 3rd largest interactive agency where he worked with firms such as Amazon.com, HotMail, Sun Microsystems, and ESPN.com. Prior to his CTO posting he was an information technology executive with Wells Fargo & Company in San Francisco, California.

Mr. VanDerSchouw and his work have appeared in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Investors’ Business Daily, Forbes Magazine, Interactive Week, Virtual Finance, PM Network, the LA Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the San Jose Mercury News. He has lectured at the Daniels School, the Kellogg School, the Krannert School, the Price School and many other colleges and universities throughout the United States.

Mr. VanDerSchouw has earned the prestigious Project Management Professional designation and is a Professional Member of the National Speakers Association. He is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development, and is listed in the National Register Who’s Who for Executives and Professionals.
